Point and Figure as a
chart type real-time and end of day 1, 5, 15, 30, 60, daily or weekly chart. Back to new features

A new toolbar button switches you to this display type. Properties for Point & Figure are available by right clicking in Chart area.

NOTES
1. Alerts do not fire on point and figure chart data or indicators shown
with point and figure. Alerts will still be processed on the underlying
OHLC data. There are no pt-fig trendline crossovers or pt-fig breakouts.
2. There are conditions under which the point and figure chart may, on its
own, alter the scaling parameters. If you use an EOD chart of Berkshire Hathaway using a box size of 0.01 there will be hundreds of thousands of boxes, it will silently change the scaling to reduce the number of boxes and start over again.
3. Each column of the point and figure chart has a 'virtual' open, high,
low, close. If its an X (going up) column, the open and low are at the
bottom, high and close at top. Vice-versa for down going
columns. Indicators are generated using these 'virtual' OHLC numbers.
4. Trying to draw a Point and Figure chart in a fixed rectangular area,
the more horizontal bands present the smaller the X and O icons become, but only
to a point. If the X and Os become smaller than 5 pixels a vertical
scroll bar will appear.
5. Trendlines on point and figure charts can only be drawn horizontally or
at 45 degrees from horizontal. No other drawing figures are available.
