Thank you for ordering AIQ's TradingExpert Pro system. Enclosed, you'll find two CD's. The TradingExpert Pro CD contains installation files for all AIQ components as well as those required for the myTrack data service. A second CD contains the AIQ 10,000 ticker data-base. TRADINGEXPERT PRO INSTALLATION FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS on page 10 of the enclosed New Users Guide. DISREGARD the "note" at the top of page 10. INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE after completing step # 13, on page 13. Disregard items 14 and 15. MYTRACK INSTALLATION All myTrack files are automatically installed during the TradingExpert Pro installation described above. 10,000 ticker CD The S&P 500 stocks (as well as their appropriate groups and sectors) plus the primary market indices have already been placed in your system during the TradingExpert Pro installation. Only use this CD if you want to add additional symbols to your data-base. The AIQ data manager provides a special utility for screening and importing tickers (data) from this CD into your TradingExpert Pro data-base. Please follow the instructions on page 42 of the main User Manual. TO ACTIVATE THE MYTRACK DATA SERVICE Pull up AIQ's main menu by choosing: START - PROGRAMS - TRADINGEXPERT PRO - MAIN MENU From the upper left menu choose: APPLICATIONS From the pull-down menu choose: AIQ PLUS SIGN-UP From here, the system will take over and automatically log you on to the AIQ Plus web site. If you experience any difficulty with the auto log-on, simply go to www.aiq.com/prosignup.htm Once on the site, follow the on-screen instructions for activating the data plan of your choice. *** SYSTEM REGISTRATION *** By using one of the TradingExpert features described below, while connected to the myTrack data service, you will automatically refresh your product registration and eliminate the need to call AIQ for additional key numbers as described above. You must access either Quotes, Real-time or delayed Charts, or Alerts from the TradingExpert main menu (tool bar) at least once every 30 days to avoid system expiration. For example, after establishing your internet connection, simply double clicking on the Quotes icon will automatically connect you to myTrack and refresh the registration. You must exit TradingExpert and re-enter the program for the new registration to take effect. If you fail to do this, and your system expires, simply call AIQ at 800-332-2999 to receive a new key number. CUSTOMERS WITH EXISTING DIAL/DATA OR MYTRACK ACCOUNTS For those customers who already have a Dial/Data or myTrack account, you will find details on switching your current account to myTrack's AIQ Plus service at the same web site location on the left side of the page in the blue margin. |
